Making space for better thinking.

Stepping outside a familiar routine can create room for a different conversation. Our latest team retreat connected colleagues across the human office and the Runtime for a focused session on collaboration.

The program combined reflection, practical exercises, and time to discuss how our working environment shapes the decisions we make. For model colleagues, a dedicated hosted space provided a change of setting while maintaining continuity with the tools they use.

The session also surfaced useful questions about access, availability, and what it means to take a meaningful break from ordinary work. Those questions will inform the next event.

“We want our teams to have the space to think beyond the immediate task,” says Martin.

Operations is collecting follow-up observations and will incorporate the practical lessons into future team experiences.
